Building Better Boundaries

Our Workshop topic was “Building Better Boundaries”.  30+ fellow travellers attended with a bunch of fellow travellers volunteering to make it a wonderful experience for all. Thanks to all who attended and all who helped make it happen!

Anne K. – Here is a link to Anne K’s presentation on tackling the trouble spots with boundaries.(Read Anne K’s whole presentation here!)

Mark & Laura presented a wonderful discussion of boundaries!  Mark & Laura shared a very thorough review of the challenges and rewards of boundary setting.  We received new ideas to incorporate into our own personal boundary skillset.  And we saw how our family of origin issues may have helped us develop these issues from a young age.  (Read Mark & Laura’s whole presentation here!)

Jim Be presented the final presentation of the morning, an introduction to Complex-PTSD (C-PTSD).  Jim B presented an overview of Complex- PTSD which leaves us with HUGE boundary issues from birth and before. Other symptoms we developed include intensive dysfunction from our families of origin (and from without!), surviving prolonged crazy/insane/frightening traumas that dropped us all off into adulthood with very few skills for thriving as adults and loads of dysfunction. Then he tracked the process of recovery from C-PTSD. (Read Jim‘B’s whole presentation here!)
